Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancelling

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Workspace owners and admins can cancel from Settings → Billing in the Marqab app, from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (linked there and from your receipts), or by emailing billing@marqab.dev. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then you keep full access, and the subscription won’t renew.

After the period ends, the workspace becomes read-only. You can still view and export all of your data as JSON or CSV. You can resubscribe at any time to pick up where you left off.

2. Free trial

The 14-day Pro trial is free and needs no payment card, so there is nothing to refund or cancel. If you don’t choose a plan, the workspace becomes read-only when the trial ends.

3. Monthly plans

If you’re not happy with a monthly payment, you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of the charge. After 7 days, monthly payments are non-refundable. You can still cancel, and you won’t be charged again.

4. Yearly plans

You can request a prorated refund within 30 days of buying or renewing a yearly plan. We refund the amount you paid, minus one-twelfth for each month that has started since the purchase or renewal date. When the refund is issued, your subscription ends and the workspace becomes read-only.

Example: Pro yearly costs USD 411.60 (USD 49 × 12, less 30%). If you ask for a refund 20 days after renewal, one month has started, so you get USD 411.60 − USD 34.30 = USD 377.30. The refund is issued through Lemon Squeezy, as explained in section 7.

After 30 days, yearly payments are non-refundable. You can cancel so the plan doesn’t renew.

5. Duplicate or erroneous charges

If you were charged twice for the same invoice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount, we will refund the incorrect amount in full. The refund goes to the original payment method via Lemon Squeezy within 7–10 business days of confirming the error. These refunds aren’t subject to the time limits above.

6. How to request a refund

Email billing@marqab.dev from the workspace owner’s or billing contact’s email address, and include:

1. your invoice number (MQB-####, shown on the emailed invoice and in Settings → Billing);
2. the workspace name;
3. the reason for the request. For a duplicate or erroneous charge, include the Lemon Squeezy order number from your receipt or a bank statement line if you have it.

We reply within 2 business days to confirm whether the refund is approved and how much it is.

7. How refunds are paid

• Orders are processed and invoiced by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Approved refunds are issued via Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method. We can’t refund to a different card or account.
• We start the refund within 7–10 business days of approval. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
• Payments are charged in USD. Refunds are made in USD for the amount actually charged, including any tax collected. We don’t cover currency-conversion differences or fees charged by your bank or card issuer.
• Lemon Squeezy emails you a confirmation for every refund.

8. Disputes and chargebacks

If something looks wrong, please contact us at billing@marqab.dev before raising a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We can usually fix billing problems faster directly. If you do open a chargeback, the workspace may become read-only while it is investigated. If a chargeback is found in your favour, we won’t also refund the same amount.

9. Enterprise

Cancellation and refunds for Enterprise plans follow the terms of your order form or contract. Where it says nothing on a point, this policy applies.
